Could We with Ink... original painting 14x20, floral hymn botanical calligraphy

Sorry, this item has sold.

A fragment, as it was found scrawled on the wall of an asylum years ago:
"Could we with ink, the ocean fill,
and were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
and every man a scribe by trade,"

it continues:
"To write the Love of God above,
would drain the ocean dry,
nor could the scroll contain the whole,
though stretched from sky to sky."

The first section is interpreted here in original watercolor and calligraphy, 14x20" heavy watercolor paper, signed by the artist, Jocelyn Boblink. Ready to ship in a tube for protection, USPS. All right to licensing and reproduction are retained by the artist.
